This lozenge-cut diamond has a step-like feature. The word lozenge comes from the Old French word 'lozenge', meaning 'diamond shape.' This shape was sought after in the 14th century, adding a vintage element to this cut of stone. 

This stone fluoresces very strong blue under UV light.

Diamonds rank 10 on the Mohs scale of hardness, making them the hardest gemstone used in jewelry. If the diamond is mounted carefully and treated with care, it can last for generations!
